We are always looking for volunteers to help

plan and participate in events, during and outside of

school. We can always use volunteers to help with events

or if you have a special skill, and you would be willing to

donate your time. We would love to know about it!

Your network of connections and knowledge is

always valuable. We can always use help

The Murphy PTO is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that strives to enrich the educational experience of our children, help support staff and assists in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and fundraising. PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization, consisting of families and teachers working together to support and enrich all students. Our PTO brings these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that create a better educational experience for the students. Murphy PTO is open to all parents, guardians and family members of Murphy Elementary Students. Get involved and help us make this school year the best it can be!

PTO Meetings

A great way to get involved and learn about what is happening at Murphy is by attending a PTO Meeting (or completing the volunteer signup form). Check events calendar for specific dates.

Become a Volunteer

Before becoming a PTO volunteer you may have some questions. Let us tell you all the great things about being a volunteer and if you still have questions, let us know. When being a PTO Volunteer you are in the know of all the many fun activities going on at Murphy Elementary, both during school and after school. It’s up to you what events you want to volunteer for. You can volunteer for all events or just specific ones. When we have enough volunteers we rotate them during the events so all volunteers have time to help make the event as wonderful as possible, but also get to spend time making memories with their loved ones. Just because you sign up to be a volunteer doesn't mean you're obligated to volunteer. We know schedules and events constantly change. As long as you sign up to be a volunteer you'll have access to the upcoming events and when an opportunity comes that you are able to assist us, we would love to have you!

Volunteering is not just for Parents!

Any loved one is welcome to become a volunteer. Share this with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles or any special someone in your child's life.

MES PTO Amazon Wish List

The MES PTO relies on donations from the community to help support the students and staff at Murphy Elementary, as well as to help support all the fun activities and events that are hosted by the PTO. While we rely heavily on volunteer help to make events successful, we couldn't do it with out all the generous donations. Please consider taking a look at the PTO's Amazon Wish List and purchasing an item or two to help support many of this years up coming events we have planned for the students, staff & their families.
